responsible for assisting the Food Service Administrator in the
management of the food service program at FLCI and provides direct
supervision, training, and evaluation of kitchen staff and workers.
Responsibilities include the production and distribution of
approximately 4,500 meals per day and managing day to day operations
within the Food Service Department. This position will assume overall
responsibility in the absence of the Food Service Administrator and will
complete shift coverage in the absence of other food service staff as

Working in large-scale food production (serving 100+ meals per session,
etc.) Maintaining and monitoring sanitation in a food production setting
Performing food service management tasks (managing inventory, using food
storage techniques etc.) In addition to the above, well qualified
applicants will have experience: Supervising staff (hiring, assigning,
directing, and evaluating work, discipline, settling grievances, etc.)
Working with nutrition and/or quality assessment (including modified
and/or medically restricted diets) Performing financial related tasks
(cost control, generating purchasing specifications/justifications,
